Snowbird, Utah

The picture above is the view from the balcony of my timeshare condo in the Utah mountains….nice, eh?

Well, it is mid-week of my annual ski trip to my timeshare at Iron Blosam Lodge, Snowbird Utah. It is the 28th consecutive year for this sojourn into the Utah mountains during the 5th week of the year. I spend less time on the hill than I used to because of advancing age, but the beauty of the mountains is always uplifting. Going out to ski at about 11am and returning to the lodge by 2:30-3pm is enough for me.…quality not quantity of the ski experience is what counts these days.

It’s been a good season for skiing in the mountains here. So far this winter there have been 337” of snow fall here—that’s 28feet! The total depth of the snow is 129” at mid-mountain this morning. The skiing is very good.

Below is a photo of me taken 2 years ago after 2 days of glorious snow—43” in the previous 48 hours. Perfect!
